Razer Switchblade Prototype

Technology never cease to stop evolving and this concept seems like the natural step, the recently announced Razer Switchblade Prototype is hyped up to be the next big leap in PC gaming since Steam with an innovative concept and a natural appeal for all PC gamers .

the Atom powered gaming device is a unique concept of its own , with a 7" touch screen and LCD changeable buttons , so lets assume your playing World Of Warcraft the buttons layout will change accordingly and instead of letters the actual spell icon will appear on the hot-keys , and if you change the game it will boot up a different lay-out and its fully customizable .

if you can watch the serious Asian guy with his deep dramatic voice without laughing you will get a cookie !

so far no release date or price tag cause its still into the development phase, so this prototype might not see the light of day or be properly implemented ( E.G OnLive ).

UPDATED : The Story Of Ted Williams

Its amazing to see the kindness and good will of people change to something positive , it usually change for the worse and the collective ignorance and rudeness of people, but this time everything happened perfectly.

two days ago a video sky rocketed on youtube of a homeless guy standing a corner collecting dollars from passers-by , but his talent was something amazing, he had an amazing voice fit for narration of documentaries, but due to his drug abuse and alcohol he wasted his life and talent and reduced into a homeless nameless man on the corner .

and after 13 million viewers the media came into the pictures and his life is changed forever, his talent got acknowledged by the media, and his destiny began to change .

its amazing what attention to a cause might do , only if we gave it our time , like the case of Ted Williams here, its just beautiful to see the kindness of total strangers with their prayers and support helping him get up on his feet and start over , what a beautiful start to 2011 within its first weeks a Cinderella story happen .

Tron Themed Xbox360 Controller Review

With every major blockbuster movie there comes merchandise , and with the new Tron : Legacy movie its load and load of merchandise either its apparel, action figures or collectibles .

since im a huge fan of the the old Tron i wanted to put my greasy hands on any collectible i can get, so the first thing i got is the the Tron themed Xbox360 Controller is it worth it or like the sequel its more flash than substance ?

The Good :

- first thing i noticed when i took it out of the box its how different it is from the original Xbox360 Controller, its less bulky and more firm to grip and the leather sides are actually a welcomed addition .

- the main reason its the aesthetics look of the Tron movie theme , its so darn sexy and its translated very well into the this controller even the letters are written in Tron-ish style .

The Bad :

- its very plasticly for an official collectible it feels cheap and some of the edges are poorly done very poorly done.

- the buttons sometimes feel like the old NES controller for some odd reason , and doesnt give you the satisfaction of button mashing and the triggers react strangely when you push them .

- the vibration in this controller is a joke , it feels like a gerbil is running inside it without any feedback from the actual game .

- ITS WIRED !!!!

Overall :

its fun to look at for the first 5 mins then all the joy and fun wears out quickly and all you are left with is a plasticly glow in the dark toy  , it doesnt even mimic the satisfaction you get from the original controller its just doesnt feel the need to try to be good they just know you will buy it for the look .

True Grit Review

After the murder of her father a 14 year old girl is trying to pull back her life together and find her fathers killed, in a world filled with bounty hunters and greedy bankers, this movie is remade from an old John Wayne movie but this time its helmed by the Coen Brothers and executive producer Steven Spielberg , staring Jeff Bridges , Matt Damon , Josh Brolin and the amazingly casted Hailee Stienfeld .

The Good :

- The Characters are always essential in a Coen brothers movie and this one doesnt miss the spot, the characters are intriguing and never shy to show you their own weaknesses and this time Jeff Bridges really made the role of Rooster Cogburn easily recognizable even though its a difficult character .

- All western movies share the amazing trait of having an amazing soundtrack and this one is not exempt , its very fitting to the story and very close to the environment and the cinematography .

- They've done an amazing job capturing the true loneliness and grittiness of the old wests and how a 14 year old educated girl would fit in in the lone and cold world of the wild west .

The Bad :

- Josh Brolin is a staple actor in the Coen Brothers movies but i hated how they delegated his role into a supporting character with few spoken lines its a far drop from No Country For Old Men.

- Sometimes during the shooting scenes the actors become immune to bullets in one scene they are shot the other they are climbing a mountain , this inconsistency distracts from the pain of the character and doesnt have a present danger to the character cause they will merely survive .

Overall :

Its a Beautiful story done with alot of care but it falls short sometimes , its not the best of Coen Brothers but not the worse either , Matt Damon , Jeff Bridges and Hailee Steinfeld really pulled of an amazing job of brining this movie to life , and the cinematography is brilliant to say the least .
