The Social Network Review
the story of the rise of the internets biggest social network and the story behind the man who created it Mark Zuckerberg ,helmed by David Fincher ( Se7en , Fight Club ) is it good , or just another spammy FarmVille friend ?
Overview :
The poster says it all its all about the people around the creator , old friends or ex business partners trying to get a piece of the pie , after mark cheated his way into being the youngest billionaire but is he the bad guy or just a very smart guy and he earned his success and fame .
The Good :
- its a drama no doubt about it and a very good one the plot is thick and heavy with multi-layered characters that you can easily connect with , the plot is eased out by the lovely pacing which never gets you bored or ever slows down its David Fincher afterall .
- David Fincher did an amazing job with the direction in this one , the cuts and transitioning is something of a perfection , it blends two different scenes almost without letting the viewer notice the transition , with the helped of blurred out sounds , also another nice touch from this amazing director was the subtle figurative shots and lines ( its raining / a dark cloud ) which tells you subliminally the situation at hand .
- Trent Reznor the lead singer from Nine Inch Nails did the soundtrack and he did an amazing job at it a piano notes played out on a industrial sound loop , sometimes the notes pop up near a climatic scene and it feels like its well placed and plot serving .
The Bad :
- David Fincher style in direction is dark photography , and i dont think its suitable for this movie , i think a normal approach to photography will do its not as dark or disturbing as Fight Club or Se7en , sometimes its just an annoyance , with a cheesy cold breath effect those things kinda distracted me .
- the cast didnt make a strong impact , only with a couple of scenes showing true and strong emotions towards the end with justin timberlake being himself which was kind of annoying .
Overall :
its a fun to watch movie , its deep and well done with some flaws here and there and the cast came up inches short of the direction , but it didnt fail the overall enjoyment of the movie , if you ever wanted the story behind facebook this is the movie for you , its like a documentary only for a broader audience and with alot of fun .

Christopher Nolan finally talked about it and now we know the name of the new Batman movie and more juicy info.
in a interview with Hero Complex Nolan revealed that the Batman 3 title will be The Dark Knight Rises, and in a move that may surprise some fans, he said that the film's villain won't be The Riddler.
its a shame cause the riddler is a perfect cast for a villain after the brilliant performance of the joker played by the late Heath Ledger , but it seems that nolan is looking for a female villain, is it Harley Quinn !?

there is no denying that longest dominating genre is rock , and the most culture influencing and diverse of all music styles , it was perfected by The Beatles and Led Zepplin and made into real and gritty by AC/DC and Metallica , but lately it lacked quality and depth , but some bands kept it real and alive this post will cover the bands from the 90's and nothing earlier , heres a small rundown of those bands :

10- Kings Of Leon
this family band is pure rock with the steady drumline and amazing guitar riffs and without a doubt one of the best vocals in recents years anthony followil voice is what captures you instantly , their style wasnt very reachable to mainstream audience for it being sothern rock but after " Only By Night " they made it into the airwaves and dominated , this band is one of rare bands that their live performace equals or beats their recorded performance
9 - Rise Against
being a melodic hardcore rock band is hard you cant break it into mainstream media and hardcore rock fans will hate you for being " soft , thats why this band is the least known band on our list , its power comes from the insanly addictive melodies and hard hitting chorus with a political and social commentary rarely seen in those past years .
8 - Audioslave
combine Chris Cornell and Tom Morello and your you will have an eargasm , Chris Cornell's voice melt like butter on your soul , while Tom Morello's wacky solos and creative guitar riffs are something that should be taught at schools , sadly this union was broken with the band being disbanded after only 3 albums .

7 - Evanescence
goth rock wasnt mainstream until Amy Lee crooned into our hearts the ex christian rock band was a surprise hit and caught everyone off guard and since their first album they reigned the billboards charts , the band is still together with the exception of Ben Moody who left after the first album cause of creative differences , but so far the band have been quite on their future album .
6 - Muse
like or hate it rock was born in england and muse are carrying that huge torch into this era , with melodic power chords and the high pitched voice of mattew bellame is a perfect match with a unique unmatched style , they even tried with symphonic rock that was featured in their lastest album , the Exogenesis is a melodic symphony of guitars drums and pianos , not alot of groups can pull that off
5 - Seether
the most underrated rock band ever yet the keep turning out one hit after another with critical success , although still known ( as the guy who sang with Amy Lee ) their latest album was a powerful combination of ballad rock and alternative rock and was on the billboard charts but didnt break into mainstream airwaves yet .
4 - Slipknot
the pinncale of heavy metal have to be Slipknot with their dark lyrics and energtic beats are something of a legend they are like Kings Of Leon are masters in the live performances , even the ballads are loved by their hardcore and normal fans , its something amazing to please your hardcore audience when you change your style but Slipknot did it anyways and succeeded .

The Walking Dead Impressions (spoiler free )
the first episode of the biggest TV show this season have aired , is it a winning series , or a walking corpse of the 70's extinct genre ?
at first glance its a typical zombie movie made famous by the legendary and then not so legendary George A Romero only this time its a series , being an avid fan of zombie flicks since the dawn of illegal downloading i was blown away by the series pilot - as expected all pilots are great until damon lindelof starts writing about it - it wasnt a typical zombie series , it developed something was non existing in the zombie genre since its beginning it developed emotions on a high level of drama , for the first time you care about what happens to the characters unlike Romero's work which contained mostly political and social commentary and no character development worth mentioning .
from the first scenes it pay homage to George A. Romero's recent works like " Land Of The Dead " ,Zack Snyder's " Dawn Of The Dead ". and Danny Boyle " 48 Days Later " which is respectful cause those movies changed the genre and revolutionized it .
the environments felt isolated when it needed to be , then safe and warm in other parts this perfect transition is really shifting this series into high gear and making it a short movie instead of an episode .
there are some directorial hiccups in some action oriented scenes and it seemed very odd to come from a highly acclaimed director like Frank Darabont ( his movie " Shawshank Redemption " is rated the best movie on IMDB best 250 films of all time ), it doesnt ruin anything but it reminded me of how i was pissed of when i saw what Paul W.S Anderson's did to the Resident Evil , and how moronically spanned out into 4 movies of absurdity atleast we saw Milla Jovovich naked before she got old and wrinkly .

if you are a fan of zombies or AMC its really worth the watch it reminded me of the LOST pilot ( hence the damon lindlof reference early on ) it kept you satisfied and wanting more , i hope the rest of the season follows the pilot in suspense and drama .

Star Wars 3rd Trilogy .. Wait What ??
Yet again George Lucas is trying to milk his Star Wars franchise to the fullest but this time its in a good way , ok this gonna get complicated so bring a coffee mug or a herbal tea and clear your mind and sit on your comfy chair.
In the 90's the great George Lucas started fiddling with the original trilogy , into an improved and enhanced version filled with CGI , and after that the second trilogy ( the prequel ) started with the releasing with the phantom menace and the second trilogy started .
now in the 2000's George is doing it again but this time its not like the second abomnation trilogy , this trilogy is a brand new series with brand new characters ,as the second trilogy is being "remade" for the 3D era so its natural that a new series to start and its a good thing cause most people know darth vader or lord sidious but never heard of the other Sith Lords like : Exar Kun , Darth Revan and Sirak , and the events before the " A New Hope" are mostly vague to casual Star Wars fans .
the series should be released on 2015 , 2016 after the release of the 3D remakes .

Proof That Nerds Cant Dance

well sort of , according to the voice actor of agent 47 David Bateson its real and its gonna be awesome , no official press release from IO interactive or Square Enix Europe ( Eidos previously ) . David had this to say for the game :

Finally IO pulled their shit together and started working on their landmark series , but i think it will be a tie in to the movie Hitman 2 sorta like the Prince Of Persia game synced to release on movies release to cash in on the marketing , so far details are sketchy, but i really wish it to be real , its bringing so much memories playing on my old PC , yea im a ex PC gamer you lousy console owners .

Greatest Comedy Movies Ever
To me comedy is the rope line to us humans to drowning in life , some movies are awesome some are awful ( adam sandler im looking at you ) but some are legendary and everlasting , heres a list of the greatest works and the best things that happened to comedy beside me .
Anchorman The Legend Of Ron Burgundy (2004)
first things first will ferrel is not a good actor but whenever he's around adam mckay he's a legend ( talladega nights . step brother ) the sexism in this movie and the macho jokes are over the top , and typical of men of the 70's yet writer adam mckay perfected it with a most perfect cast you can get for a comedy movie and a powerful cameos .
Young Frankenstien (1974)
one of mel brooks finest works ever , its the ultimate throw back to those monster movies of the early 40's and 50's the movie was shot in a low budget form and with black and white which seemed odd but its perfected the feel of the sleazy horror flicks , with an amazing cast and Igor the best sidekick in any movie .
Dr.Strangelove : Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb (1964)
another masterpiece shot in black and white featuring the great late Petter Sellers its our first dark comedy movie in this list and not the last im sure ,directed by the great Stanley Kubrick this movie makes a nuclear war between russia and america during the cold war so much fun with witty dialogue and funny characters and awkard and stupid situations .
Airplane ! (1980)
one of the finest works for the amazing spoof trio Jim Abrahams , David Zucker And Jerry Zucker ( Top Secret , Naked Gun Trilogy , Hot Shots , Scary Movie 4 ) this movie shines with jokes and spoofing other movies of the 80's its so filled with jokes you have to re watch it atleast 2 times to get all the jokes and references this movie is a bit offensive but it keep it tacky somehow , this is the best comedic performance for leslie neilsen with his " please dont call me shirley " line .
Shaun Of The Dead ( 2004 )
im a big fan of British comedy but i have never seen it so perfectly done in this movie , the cold one liners to the funny situations the only thing i can say its a pure masterpiece and it will be matched in our generation of comedian , simon pegg and nick frost carried out the scenes with an amazing transitions and kept the plot relevant .
ps: if im gushing too much i dont give a damn , its my favorite zombie / comedy movie :P

And the best for last , the legendary Monty python series is without any introductions one of the best comedy series ever ( the meaning of life , flying circus ,life of brian ) this movie will test your sanity and test your sense of humor , its so crazy and outrageous your are bound to laugh , it gets you in the credits and keeps the insanity going all movie long , its will scramble your head and serve it to you .

RED Movie Review
Bruce willis is back in his action movies saddle , is he good or he's too old to play the superhero action man he used to play in the 80's ?
The Plot :
ironically he plays a down on his luck retired man with nothing in his life , no wife no kids no hope , he falls in love with the girl and people start chasing him , shots fired and an explosion (spoiler free intro :P )
The Good :
- you have bruce willis , morgan freeman , john malkovich and hellen mirren all sharing one liners and jokes , its a real joy to watch these fine actors cracking jokes about bruce willis hair , or john malkovich being too old to do anything , making fun of old people wasnt enough till this movie came along .
- the director was loving his job , the way he plays out the action and sequences is fresh and original , i havent seen this approach to directing done so well since the days of " mr. and mrs, smith " , its fun over the top , highly enjoyable and really bad ass . ( read the bad )
The Bad :
- the movie starts out strong with funny jokes , strong action then when the plot thickens it drops the comedy action and goes into a light drama mode with a dash of romance , its like watching two separate movies , and the over the top action in the starts of the movie vanish's in middle of it . it started as a action movie turned into a romance then morphed into a heist movie , it lack consistency .
- having an ensemble cast is always an issue you have to sideline some actors , in this case john malkovich and morgan freeman felt like cameos instead of supporting roles , and in morgan freemans case it was really just a filler to extend the movies time , he served a little purpose in the main plot , but it was a joy watching him .
- the end is soooooooo anti-climactic i was stunned by how lame it was , it felt like the writers wrote themselves into a corner ( although the plot is very linear ) and u can almost here the director say : wrap it up we are running out of reels .
Overall
i loved this movie it reminded me of romancing of the stone , it was fun with high paced action , but it lost its charm and became a boring heist movie , doesnt mean it wasnt funny , it just could've been better if they kept it close to its original idea .

- if you grew up in the 90's like most awesome people you would shed a tear of pride when you hear the old sega logo sung by 4 neutered asians , most of the sounds are worked from the old sonic games the bombs , the bubbles breathing , the jump thingy you cant help but smile while playing this game .
- the amazing backgrounds are sometimes distracting from the game , its just soo darn beautiful and its amazingly fluid and well designed , along with the good ole level designs its a pure joy .
-there is no story !!! i know its supposed to be a bad thing , but if you played any of the last sonic games you will know what im talking about , no princess no gimmicky modes , its all running all the time ( mostly see the bad ) .
The Bad :
- ok sonic is supposed to be fast , amirit ? yet this game is making sonic moves like a turtle rushing to the toilet, get stopped by an enemy and you have to roll ball to gain some momentum, and even when your in full speed you dont get the sense you had in the dreamcast sonic ( i guess old age got to sonic )
- sometimes during the game you have to halt and i mean complete and utter halt to solve a vine climbing puzzle or a card jumping stage , they transform sonic into a mario with blue balls
Bottomline :
its tries so hard to please the fans and bring the glory days of old sonic , but it fails on so many levels , im not saying its bad i had a blast playing it and remembering my childhood , but its not the old one ,its a lovechild between marliyn manson and the old sonic the hedgehog you look at it but you dont know what it is .
its like looking at this , its fun but its full of shit !
